The Library

Straight ahead, past the Grand Staircase at the far end of the Main Hallway is the Library adorned with inlays of cherry wood in the mahogany and anchored firmly by two large carved built-in bookcases .
All the formal rooms have carved and painted stone mantles over coal fireplaces ; each uniquely decorated in the Eastlake Style .
Also common to each of the Great Rooms are the two-tiered rosewood shutters over the eight-foot windows.
